About Me:

I am a PhD scholar in the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, since July 2014. I am currently working with Prof. B. Jayaram. I have done my Masters in Biotechnology and Bachelors in Life Sciences.

About my Research:

I work in the area of Computational Biology and my thesis topic is
"Protein Function Prediction".

I have a keen interest in developing algorithms for studying biological pathways and drug discovery for a "Disease free world!!!".

As proteins are the major drug targets, exploring the forces that determine the protein structure and its biological role to extend our knowledge of the molecular nature of structure and function is one of the challenging problem. To address such problems, I developed interests in predicting the most probable native like protein structure and accurate function from protein sequences; simulating the dynamic behavior of proteins and their associated complexes; database mining of systems with biomedical importance; Database curation and statistics in cheminformatics.
