InCoB 2006 -International Conference on Bioinformatics

InCoB 2006 is the fifth annual international conference of the Asia Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNet) to be held from 18th - 20th December, 2006 in New Delhi, India.

 Previous International Conferences on Bioinformatics (InCoB) were held in

  1. InCoB 2002 at Bangkok, Thailand,
  2. InCoB 2003 at Penang, Malaysia,
  3. InCoB 2004 at Auckland, New Zealand
  4. InCoB 2005 at Busan, South Korea

This conference brings together scientists from different branches of biology, medicine, computer science, engineering, mathematics and statistics. The scope of InCoB encompasses the development and application of computational methods for solving biological problems at different levels of biological organization. InCoB 2006 hopes to provide a common platform for both academia and Industry to come together to enrich themselves with current developments and future trends in the field of computation biology and for developing products and services useful to society.

The conference will feature original, refereed papers, which will be published in the conference proceedings. There will also be tutorials, posters, software demonstrations, and an exhibition of hardware and software vendors.

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi, and the Department of Biotechnolgy Govt. of India are the organizers of the event.

Dates: December 18th to 20th, 2006.
